Hello fellow CTQG members! I decided to hijack the blog and send you all some pictures of quilts I have been working on. Time has gone so fast, we moved to Mn in June and a year will be here in just a few months. I miss coming to our monthly meetings and seeing so. Any of my dear friends! I have been quIlting though! I made two bargello quilts. One for My daughter Sarah's wedding, and one for my parents. My grandson requested a "Lego" quilt, I used Lego colors and any easy pattern disappearing 9 patch. I participated in Bonnie Hunters quiltville mystery starting the Friday after thanksgiving through New Years. It was called "Grand Illusion" inspired by the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island in Michigan. It was a fun project to do! It is definitely a busy scrap quilt. I was able to use scraps from my stash for all but the yellow constant she suggested. If you haven't ever visited her site, go to quiltville.com you will be directed to her blog. She has lots to offer on many of her tabs! I also made a baby quilt for My daughter-in-laws sister. Thank you Nioami for the pattern! I have had the fabric bought for this one for more than a year...and it turned out great, I think. I will throw in some pics from our home... Hope you enjoy my show and tell! Hope to get back to guild sometime soon! ~Clare~😊

January meeting was our white elephant sale to benefit the library. Good turn out of items for sale. Great lunch and meeting. Starting to think of ideas for the raffle quilt and the quilt show. Anything pops into your mind bring it to the February meeting and share.

Nov and Dec quilt meetings
Computer problems are figured out with college son's held so hopefully all is well. Nov and Dec meeting are posted as one show due to the small number of show and tell items. Enjoy
