The Centennial Parade is over and Doris did a wonderful job in getting the float ready for the parade. Five women wore dresses from old and walked or rode the float. We have had alot of positive comments concerning how wonderful the float was even now.

August 4, 2014 was the quilters guild meeting. Diana Shull gave a workshop that used just a pin wheel block. Just cutting that block into nine equal pieces you could make four different block patterns from that original pin wheel depending on how you lay out the pieces. Awesome! Most of the meeting was taken up with the details for the float that was entered into the centennial parade and getting the details down for the quilt show in Sept. Show and tell was light but what we were shown was great. Work on getting pieces done for the quilt show and see you there.
