We had our August meeting. I was a little late and didn't get to see the demo. It was a make and take petal bag. perfect for holding jewelry. I don't think I got a picture of one, but it was a nice project. It only used 2 contrasting 10 inch blocks of fabric. There were a few show and tell projects shown. BettyJane showed off one of the Blue ribbon's she got at the State Fair. Judy comment on the Large amount of Blue ribbon's she got for various items, food, handwork, canning, and quilting items. Good job Betty Jane! I got to share my summer projects... I suppose most people are holding off showing their projects for our September Quilt show. It will be our 1st time holding the quilt show without Hazen's harvest fest being in session. July is just too warm for us to think about hanging quilts even if the city hall is air conditioned.
